I’ve been umming and ahhing at getting a digital camera for the last year or so. Needing a pick me up after yesterdays sad news, I finally ordered a Canon Ixus v3. It’s a nice camera. At least, the earlier revision was very nice. Adam’s camera (one of the earlier models) impressed me a huge amount, and it sounds like they’ve addressed the battery-life issue.
It has the perfect combination of compactness, features, geek-chic appeal, and mac support. And judging by the fact that all photographic shops in the EC and WC area seem to have sold out, it’s also very popular.
So, needing a bit of a lift, I’ve forked out for this little beast, and hope to get it tomorrow at home. No doubt the results of my photographic experiments will make there way here at some point. Probably after Frances has excercised her veto
