Oh yes, this is good. I’m typing this sat in a comfy chair sat in Starbucks at the top end of Fleet Street.
Shame I had to pay for the privilege (£14 for two hours use over a month isn’t so bad really, is it?), but the alternative was sitting in the office fuming. I’m unable to do any real work at the moment because the machines I need to use are “too noisy”, whilst my colleagues hold a meeting. Why fume? Well, I’ve got just 1.5 days left now (baring the weekend, which I intend to enjoy) to learn a new product before having to visit a client and install it there.
All very frustrating, but the joys of wireless almost make up for it. Next time, though, I must make sure I bring my power lead, and ensure that pop-up windows aren’t disabled. I’ve lost my t-mobile logout option, and am stuck trusting them to properly disconnect me so I don’t use all of my two hours in one big go.
Mmmm. Despite all this geeky goodness, my coffee and a newspaper beckon right now…
