A love miso it is great to catch up with your friends, for lunch and some drinks. My specialality is Salmon wok bowl and some prawn crackers. I also go when before i go to the dancing usually Bamboo as its right next to miso.
I would recommend for anyone to go!

Who dares to compare MISO with wetherspoons ? JDW is a god-awful McPub with no music, no atmosphere, and microwaved food. Ok so the beer is cheap but Wetherspoons should still be avoided at all costs. It seems like at the current rate, very soon every pub in glasgow will be either a J.D.W. shed or a nasty G1 group clone. Support and enjoy friendly, independent, quality bars while they still exist!

[...] It’s not all negatives though. We were happy with our plumber, enjoyed eating in Miso, Ichiban and - of course - my all time favourite noodle bar Chi Noodle - who have had a major facelift and it’s improved further still. The sooner they open up in Glasgow, the more complete my life will be [...]

Kevin (the owner/manager) is a sound bloke. Myself and about 10 pals had dinner there. 2 (some had 3) courses and loads of drinks (we were there for about 5 hours) came to £35 ahead (including tip).
Could not fault the food, drink, service or atmosphere. An excellent place and seemed to cope rather well with 10 drunken idiots doing the Mexican wave.
Err....yes....sorry about that. But the other diners seemed to enjoy it as they joined in.

[...] Some people have the afternoon off (not me unfortunately) but we’re all going out for lunch - to a Japanese restaurant called Miso which I’ve read good things about - and I’ll catch up with them later.

This one?

;-)

Even been upstairs to the restaurant, which is superb: One of the best places to eat in Glasgow.

Yup, agreed - it's a superb pub. Very much a favourite, not least for it's real ales (although I've recently discovered a few more good real ale pubs in Glasgow)
