I’ve just added a section on the side bar of my diary, which shows my most recent “Techie Musings” posts over on the right hand side. Hopefully you might see something of interest, even if you’re not a techie like me! The latest in my recent series of New Gadgets, then, is my shiny new MacBook Pro, which I’ve reviewed here.
If you’re in the market for a new computer, and are getting a bit fed up of Microsoft’s ever increasing system requirements, security hassles, and clunky interfaces, you’d do well to at least consider a Mac. Yes, I know not everybody is a Mac-head like me, but Mac’s do interoperate extremely well with Windows, and you’d be very hard pressed to find software that doesn’t exist in some form on a Mac. Even Microsoft Office.
Whilst I’ve gone for the Mac Book Pro for various reasons, the MacBook is a great laptop. I’m also a huge fan of the iMac - it has to be one of the most elegant computers that would look great in any room in the house. I’m also pleased to have found myself working for technical companies that have standardised on Mac’s.
Anyway, new toys are the focus of my New Gadget series, so pop over for my write-up of the Mac Book Pro.
