A while back I had a few thoughts about the third series of Doctor Who that’s currently airing. I’m quite pleased to discover I was spot on with my predictions, which makes a nice change. Previously I’ve fallen flat on my face and got predictions horrifically wrong. So we’re nicely set-up for the season finale now.

That said I’d have preferred if Derek Jacobi had hung around a little longer and more properly as The Master - he’s a great actor and I think he would have relished being a bit more menacing than the bumbling professor… Bit worried that John Simm is prone to goon a bit too much, and may not quite have the gravitas I think the role requires. Still, we’ll soon find out. Two more episodes to go, and a decent sticky situations for the Doctor to work out, what with the Universe ending and his Tardis having been knicked and so on.

At least it’s not Dalek’s and the very fabric of time and space being ripped asunder like the last couple of seasons. Well, at least it doesn’t appear to be so far!
