Well, I heard yesterday that I’ve been offered a contract I’d been hoping to secure for a while now. A fair amount of delay in feeding back that I had got the contract occurred for some reason, which had led me to draw all sorts of conclusions that ultimately proved wrong.

I’m quite excited as I’m looking forward to returning to work after a few months off after my most recent contract finished at the end of March. It’s also a great role which - I think - suits my skills and interests quite well.

I’ve a pile of forms to complete for all the various regulatory purposes (it’s in the finance industry, so this is normal these days) and identity purposes, so best get cracking! Here’s hoping we can get some progress on the house hunting soon too!!
