It’s great stumbling on something you don’t expect. Perhaps that’s what we all hope to find when we’re flicking about the television channels, and - generally - annoying the hell out of everybody else in the room.
Well, I manage to puzzle Frances immensely (usually a solid indicator I’ve hit gold, at least to my sense of humour
when I stumbled on The Mighty Boosh the other evening, on BBC3. She didn’t hang about to watch what turned out to be a wonderfully surreal and quirky comedy programme. I was therefore geekily chuffed to find out that the BBC website for the series has all of the episodes from series two available to watch.
BBC3 is certainly putting out some good quality humour. From The Smoking Room, to Monkey Dust, the channel seems to have a slightly more experimental policy with up and coming comedians. Here’s hoping the next League of Gentleman is just around the corner…
