Next Saturday is the second Scottish Blogs meet, and this time it’s in one of my favourite pubs in Glasgow, so I’ve no remaining excuses not to attend this time. There had been some risk of us either going away on holiday, moving house, or being in some other part of the UK, but with things now settled for later next month, I’m going to be in town, and I’m sure Frances will enjoy the opportunity to go off and do some shopping without me sulking by the exit, and searching for a coffee shop to hide^h^h^h^hsit in.
I’ve always been rather apprehensive when meeting complete strangers in social situations (which might seem odd if you know me, but I assure you it’s true), but there are some interesting folk who are writing weblogs up here in Scotland, so I’m sure it’ll be an interesting afternoon, and everybody is going to be in the same boat. Plus copious amounts of good beer on tap will help matters considerably
