I’ve just got back from a marvellous weekend in Ipswich, where my brother Peter got married to his long-term girlfriend Jen. I think I can say that everybody there had a great time celebrating their marriage, and we of course wish them all the very best and many happy years together.
Somehow they persuaded me to take The photo’s. In order to clear my paranoia that my computer suffers a freak and horrific accident, I’ve dumped all 632 of them on my flickr account, which you can get to http://leyton.org/diary/photos/album/pete-and-jens-wedding/ here. Direct link to flickr pictures is http://flickr.com/photos/richard_leyton/sets/72157594504010499/.
Update - Make sure you pop your e-mail address to me via e-mail, or in the comments below (click here), to get an update when there are new pictures. As I said to anybody who asked, there’s also a website where the filtered, tidied, tweaked pictures that you probably want to print and keep will appear:
http://www.jenandpete.co.uk - Check there over the next week or two!
Mark, who also took at least as many pictures as me, will hopefully get a DVD up to me so I can get lots of his up on the internet too.
Finally, if you have some digital pictures, best thing to do is create yourself a free account at flickr, and upload them there. Also perhaps send me an e-mail to richard at leyton dot org (type it like you say it). Please don’t send thousands of e-mail attachments: I’ll can send you details for how to send them to me in the best and easiest way to get them to me. And I’ll put as many as I can up on the website for everybody to enjoy. Or pick up the phone and give me a ring if you’re unsure: 0141 423 8336
I’ll also put some details up soon of where the best places to get prints of the digital pictures. Probably photobox, but watch this space.
