Another quite unexpected and surprising thing happened me today, and this time it’s about my other passion these days, and that’s running. It’s proving to be quite a strange few days in all sorts of ways!

I’d received my subscription copy of Runner’s World earlier this week, but not had a chance to look at it. So whilst I was eating my lunch and waiting for the lunchtime news to start, I flicked through my copy to work out what I thought would be worth reading later on when I had a bit more time (It usually winds up as being ‘everything‘, but I like to pretend I’m being more selective…).

I saw an article on Time Trials, and saw the article was all about the Bushy Park Time Trial that started the UK Time Trial phenomenon. As my friends Dave and Sharon are regulars there, I peered at the photographs to see if I could see them anywhere. Nothing jumped out of the main photos, so I scanned the article, and almost choked on my bagel when I saw a picture of them smiling back at me.

They were only the bloody Case Study! In a highlighted box all of their own. With a great picture of them too in their running club colours.

Marvellous stuff and really great to see. The latest issue (January 2008, even though it’s still only November…) of Runners World is just coming out in all good newsagents. Page 84 has their Case Study, and they’re quoted throughout the body of the article.
