A few months ago I had a bit of a rant about the persistent use of cheesy, tanned, smiling, and posed models on the front cover of Runner’s World.
Quite delighted then to see that they’ve taken note of my comments (At least, I like to think so!), and completely revamped the magazine. No less than Paula Radcliffe features on the front cover this month, which is a great start. Hopefully they’ll keep it up and use other well known runners, or realistic looking amateurs, in future.
From a very brief scan over lunch, the magazines content and format changes look great too. Seems to be a lot more detail, more beginner friendly, and much more useful content. Promising stuff.
