Wow.
Occasionally something happens that makes you think, in perhaps a rather childish way, “Isn’t the Internet so cool”. Well, it’s just happened to me. Somebody who used to work with my grandfather, at the Miners Arms, has just posted this, and dropped me an e-mail. The Internet is a wonderful devise for bringing people together.
The world truly gets smaller all the time. But it’s brought also back to my mind that one of the other things I wanted to do with leyton.org is put up some of the wonderful things my Grandfather, Paul Leyton, did. He affected many people in his life, and brought many people (including my parents) together. I’ve got a stash of his recipes buried in my spare room at the moment (much to Frances’ annoyance).
I think this weekend I’ll endevour to type up a few more. In the meantime here are some of the one’s I’ve previously posted.
