News today that Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s only church is to re-open to the public, following a year’s refurbishment.
You can’t visit Glasgow and not be exposed in some way to Mackintosh: He’s easily Scotland’s most famous architect, and his designs are simple, elegant and very stylish. My parents will be visiting us here very soon, so very much hope to take them along to see one of the many buildings that Mackintosh designed that are - thankfully - open to the public to experience.
